Preamble

We, the founders of the Districts, in order to preserve the principles of human freedom and justice, hereby unite under one banner, one Federation, the Federation of New Udonia.

Article 1

Section A

The nation-state, formed from the Districts, shall be formally recognized as the Federation of New Udonia. Informally, the nation may be recognized as New Udonia. Members of the nation shall be formally recognized as New Udonian, with informal recognition as Udonian.

Section B

The Federation of New Udonia shall be recognized by its banner of national colors. As such, the flag shall have dimensions of: two units in height, three units in length. The design of the banner shall involve the national colors of orange and blue respectively. The color of orange shall represent courage and sacrifice, and the color of blue shall represent determination and liberation. The banner shall have ten stars, with each star in equal size, representing the ten founding Districts.

Article 2

Section A

The government of New Udonia shall be separated into four divisions, recognized as sectors. These sectors shall be on equal authority and recognition, with neither sector attempting to overthrow or outgrow the other sectors.

Section B

The four sectors of government shall be recognized as: Executive, Legislative, Judicial, and Martial. Each sector shall be administered by one elected individual whom shall sit upon the Federal Chamber. The Federal Chamber shall be the highest authority of the state, with four members who are elected according to the rules prescribed by each sector's commissioning article.

Section C

The government of New Udonia shall have its capital within the District of Usonia, the smallest district, recognizing equality among all districts. The capital shall hold all Federal level government infrastructure and personnel, and be formally recognized as New Udonia City.

Article 3

Section A

The Executive sector of government, shall be granted authority over the building the nation. Three Federal Departments shall be placed under the authority of the Executive sector, with the power to construct subordinate Bureaus with the approval of the head of the Department. The Department of State, Department of Health, and Department of Technology will be the Federal Departments under jurisdiction of the Executive sector.

Section B

The Executive sector of government, shall be administered by the Office of the President. The President shall be a directly elected individual, serving a term of four years before re-election. There shall be no term limits upon the elected role, although all re-elections must be announced regularly in order to guarantee legitimacy. The President shall appoint three Secretaries, who shall formally be recognized as the Executive Secretariat. The Executive Secretariat may be removed from office by the will of the President.

Section C

If the President is unable to perform their duties; the Executive Secretariat shall serve in the role based upon the decision of an instantaneous national referendum. In the situation that all members of the Executive Secretariat are unable to perform their duty, the remaining members of the Federal Chamber shall appoint an individual to fulfill the role.

Article 4

Section A

The Legislative sector of government, shall be granted authority over the development of the nation. Three Federal Departments shall be placed under the authority of the Legislative sector, with the power to construct subordinate Bureaus with the approval of the head of the Department. The Department of Legislation, Department of Education, and Department of Records will be the Federal Departments under jurisdiction of the Legislative sector.

Section B

The Legislative sector of government, shall be administered by the Office of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister shall be a directly elected individual, serving a term of four years before re-election. There shall be no term limits upon the elected role, although all re-elections must be announced regularly in order to guarantee legitimacy. The Prime Minister shall appoint three Secretaries, who shall formally be recognized as the Legislative Secretariat. The Legislative Secretariat may be removed from office by the will of the Prime Minister.

Section C

If the Prime Minister is unable to perform their duties; the Legislative Secretariat shall serve in the role based upon the decision of an instantaneous national referendum. In the situation that all members of the Legislative Secretariat are unable to perform their duty, the remaining members of the Federal Chamber shall appoint an individual to fulfill the role.

Article 5

Section A

The Judicial sector of government, shall be granted authority over the watching of the nation. Three Federal Departments shall be placed under the authority of the Judicial sector, with the power to construct subordinate Bureaus with the approval of the head of the Department. The Department of Courts, Department of Justice, and Department of Natural Resources will be the Federal Departments under jurisdiction of the Judicial sector.

Section B

The Judicial sector of government, shall be administered by the Office of the Warden. The Warden shall be a directly elected individual, serving a term of four years before re-election. There shall be no term limits upon the elected role, although all re-elections must be announced regularly in order to guarantee legitimacy. The Warden shall appoint three Secretaries, who shall formally be recognized as the Judicial Secretariat. The Judicial Secretariat may be removed from office by the will of the Warden.

Section C

If the Warden is unable to perform their duties; the Judicial Secretariat shall serve in the role based upon the decision of an instantaneous national referendum. In the situation that all members of the Judicial Secretariat are unable to perform their duty, the remaining members of the Federal Chamber shall appoint an individual to fulfill the role.

Article 6

Section A

The Martial sector of government, shall be granted authority over the protecting of the nation. Three Federal Departments shall be placed under the authority of the Martial sector, with the power to construct subordinate Bureaus with the approval of the head of the Department. The Department of Homeland Security, Department of Emergency Services, and Department of Armed Forces will be the Federal Departments under jurisdiction of the Martial sector.

Section B

The Martial sector of government, shall be administered by the Office of the Marshal. The Marshal shall be a directly elected individual, serving a term of four years before re-election. There shall be no term limits upon the elected role, although all re-elections must be announced regularly in order to guarantee legitimacy. The Marshal shall appoint three Secretaries, who shall formally be recognized as the Martial Secretariat. The Martial Secretariat may be removed from office by the will of the Marshal.

Section C

If the Marshal is unable to perform their duties; the Martial Secretariat shall serve in the role based upon the decision of an instantaneous national referendum. In the situation that all members of the Martial Secretariat are unable to perform their duty, the remaining members of the Federal Chamber shall appoint an individual to fulfill the role.

Article 7

Section A

The Districts of New Udonia shall govern themselves, in matters determined not to be dependent on the Federation. The Districts shall have authority over local industries and issues, ranging from building codes to school schedules.

Section B

The Districts of New Udonia shall be a role, with individual elected parameters detailed by its population through referendum. Districts have the authority to choose from a wide range of governments, changing fluidly with the will of the population. All forms of government which adhere under the laws of the Federation are allowed to exist, with districts recognizing that there is no moral difference between a monarchy and a democracy.

Section C

The Districts of New Udonia shall allow their local community governments to handle all matters within their own borders, not dependent upon the Districts' authority. This division of power will enable those closest to an issue to determine the best way forward for themselves and their peers.

Article 8

Section A

In order to recognize the true equality of human life, all sentient beings will be subject unto the laws prescribed under Article 8, and must be regarded by all members of New Udonian society, in order to guarantee true freedom.

Section B

Human beings of New Udonia will be recognized as individuals who contain the parameters of Homo sapiens as part of their biological DNA. The status of human being is granted to an individual by their DNA, if their DNA is Homo sapiens, their status as human can not be modified by any being or institution in accordance with Article 8. Human beings are granted unalienable rights. The right to life, freedom from torture or abuse, and the right to solely determine their future in accordance with respecting all other sentient beings under Article 8.

Section C

Non Homo sapiens, biological, terrestrial beings of New Udonia will be recognized as members of the DNA kingdom, Animalia, and are endowed with certain unalienable rights. The right to a life free of torture and abuse, in a healthy environment. They are not guaranteed the right to life or the right to solely determine their own future.

Section D

Any sentient beings who are not classified as Homo sapiens or Animalia are classified under Section D of Article 8 whether they are artificial or extraterrestrial. These beings are guaranteed the right to a life free from torture and abuse. They are not guaranteed the right to life, the right to live in a healthy environment, or the right to solely determine their own future.

Article 9

Section A

All humans are guaranteed the right to pursue his or her own faith, in the way they see fit. Their right to practice their faith may not be removed or violated as prescribed by this article.

Section B

A human's right to practice his or her own faith may be removed if their personal practices violate Article 8. If an individual's religious practices are illegal, but non-Article 8 violating, they may be punished for their actions but not have their faith restricted.

Article 10

Section A

All humans are guaranteed the right to pursue sexual relationships, and they may not be restricted from such. Their right to sexual expression may not be removed or violated as prescribed by this article.

Section B

All legitimate human sexuality, in the eyes of the law, follows the following precepts. The act is mutually consented to, the act involves sexually mature individuals, and the act is between members of identical Article 8 classification. As long as these precepts are not violated, an individual is protected from government interference into their personal lives.

Article 11

Section A

All civilians are guaranteed the right to educate and nurture their offspring in any way they see fit to do so. They may not be restricted from doing so, as prescribed by this article.

Section B

A parent's or guardian's actions toward their children may not be restricted as long as the children are not deprived of their Article 8 rights. As such, in the incident of an Article 8 violation, the parent or guardian will have their role removed from nurturing their children's growth.
